One for Jimmy
A quick note about the blog title. It’s a reference to a movie from 1969 (the "If It's Europe..." thing). Go figure it out!
Well, we’re in Dublin. The flight was smooth. We left JFK at 22:00 and got into Dublin at 9:15ish. We hopped on a bus and got off at Trinity College (appropriately enough). Our first order of business was to grab some food. The bus driver recommended Bewley’s for a traditional Irish breakfast. Will and I both got “sweet pancakes.” They’re thicker and heartier than the average pancake. Very filling. I liked it.
Next, we found a hostel. We’re currently staying at the Bunkhouse. It’s great. 12 Euro a night for an 8 person dorm with a private shower and lockers under the bed. Also free wifi.
Once we settled in, we went to the Leprechaun Museum. It’s a museum of Irish myth and folktale that focuses on leprechauns. I loved it; there was tons of mythology to read!
As we left, I heard the sound of two baby walruses talking to each other. Turns out it as just two British dudes. Then, William and I got a Carlsberg each at at bar called Maddigans. After that, we grabbed a quick dinner at a Chinese buffet (bang for buck = maximized) and another beer at Maddigans. This time, Will had a Guiness and I had a Bavaria(n?).
As a final note, all exit signs in Ireland are the Portal symbol. It’s weirding me out.

Dear Joe,
Keep going! You’re almost there.
Love,
Andy and Will.
